First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests an internet-based self-help program designed to reduce psychological distress in adults with obesity (BMI 30 or higher). 224 participants will be randomly assigned to one of two therapy-based online programs or a waitlist. The program lasts 6 weeks and includes five online modules plus one live session. Researchers will measure changes in distress, stress, and emotional eating right after treatment and at 3, 6, and 12 months.
