Summary

This study tested different doses of nicotinamide riboside (a form of vitamin B3) in 80 people with early Alzheimer's disease. The goal was to find the dose that best boosts brain energy levels without causing side effects. Participants took pills daily for 12 weeks and had brain scans and spinal fluid tests. The study does not aim to cure Alzheimer's but to see if this supplement can improve brain cell function.
