New enzyme pill could improve digestion for those with pancreas problems

Summary
This study tests a new enzyme called NHS7108 in people whose pancreas doesn't make enough digestive enzymes (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). About 66 adults will take either the new enzyme or a standard enzyme for 14 days each, while eating a controlled diet. The goal is to see if the new enzyme is safe and helps the body absorb fat and protein as well as the current treatment.
