NCT ID NCT05757817

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is testing a new surgical technique to rebuild parts of the mouth or throat after cancer removal. The new method uses a skin flap from the groin area (external pudendal flap) instead of the usual donor sites, hoping to cause fewer complications. The study will include up to 40 adults with head and neck cancer and will follow them for one year to see how safe and effective the new procedure is.
