Major trial tests new weapon against spreading colon cancer

Summary

This study is testing whether a new drug, PF-08634404, works better than the current standard treatment for people whose colorectal cancer has spread. About 800 adults who haven't yet received treatment for their advanced cancer will be randomly assigned to get either the new drug or the standard drug, both combined with chemotherapy. The main goals are to see if the new combination helps people live longer without their cancer getting worse and to check its safety.
