Tiny brain clues may help tell dementias apart
NCT ID NCT06354933
First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study examined 186 people with different dementias (Alzheimer's, Lewy body, frontotemporal, and corticobasal) plus healthy controls to see if subtle physical signs, like coordination or reflex issues, differ between them. Participants had simple tests and questionnaires. The goal was to better understand how these brain diseases affect movement and thinking, not to test a treatment.
