First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested a new approach for people with recurrent glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer that has come back after standard treatments. Six adults received a combination of focused ultrasound (NaviFUS) and the standard drug bevacizumab. The goal was to see if the combination is safe and can help control tumor growth. The study focused on measuring side effects and how long patients lived without their disease getting worse.
