Extra scans could Fine-Tune brain tumor treatment

NCT ID NCT04771806

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having additional MRI scans during radiation and chemotherapy can help doctors see changes in high-grade glioma (a type of brain tumor) early. By spotting these changes, doctors may be able to adjust the treatment plan to better target the tumor and protect healthy tissue. About 80 adults with this brain tumor will take part. The goal is to learn if this approach improves treatment accuracy, not to test a new drug or cure.
