First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether a motivational letter sent to adults who completed a 12-week cardiac rehabilitation program would increase attendance at their one-year follow-up appointment. 102 participants were randomly assigned to receive the letter or usual care. The goal was to see if a simple, theory-based letter could improve long-term heart health monitoring.
