Summary

This study tests a 12-week group therapy program called Motivation Skills Training for people with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. The goal is to see if it improves motivation, goal attainment, and quality of life compared to a control group focused on healthy behaviors. Eighty participants from four outpatient clinics will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups.
