Summary
This study tested a mobile app designed to help small corner stores in low-income Baltimore neighborhoods buy and sell more healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Researchers worked with 38 stores and 310 regular customers to see if the app improved the availability and sales of healthier options. The goal was to make it easier for people in these communities to choose nutritious foods and help manage obesity.
