New heart bypass approach could mean faster recovery for patients with multiple blockages
NCT ID NCT06794359
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new, less invasive heart bypass surgery for people with two or more blocked heart arteries. Instead of opening the chest fully, surgeons use a small cut on the left side. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and works as well as standard surgery. About 100 adults will take part, and the study will track major problems like death, heart attack, or stroke for up to 6 months.
