Can a phone app help cancer patients feel better and use fewer pain pills?

NCT ID NCT04512144

Summary

This study is testing if using the Headspace mindfulness app can help women with endometrial or cervical cancer feel less stressed and have a better quality of life during their cancer treatment. Researchers want to see if practicing mindfulness with the app can also help reduce the amount of opioid pain medication patients need. The study will enroll 120 women who are about to start surgery or radiation treatment.
