NCT ID NCT06207136
First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether following a Mediterranean-style diet for 18 months is practical and beneficial for people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will see if the diet is easy to stick with and if it leads to changes in gut bacteria or Parkinson's symptoms. About 40 participants without dementia will be randomly assigned to either the special diet or a standard diet, with coaching and cooking classes provided online.
