Scientists decode tumor 'fingerprints' to sharpen cancer diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07268066
First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at how chemical changes to DNA, called methylation, differ in brain, thyroid, and endometrial cancers. By analyzing tumor samples from 180 people, researchers hope to create better ways to classify these cancers and find new targets for diagnosis. The goal is to turn these molecular patterns into tools doctors can use in everyday practice.
