Summary

This study aims to understand why medical students develop depression and other mental health problems. Researchers will follow up to 10,000 students for up to 12 years each, comparing those who enter medical school with those who do not. Participants fill out yearly online questionnaires about their mental health. The goal is to identify risk factors and later design programs to help at-risk students.
