NCT ID NCT07514221
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study adapts Project YES+, a behavioral program, to improve mental health and reduce HIV-related stigma for adolescent and young men who have sex with men living with HIV in Vietnam. Eighty participants aged 16-24 will receive individual and group sessions with peer mentors. The goal is to see if the program is acceptable, feasible, and shows early signs of helping with depression and anxiety.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Project YES+ (To-Hieu) behavioral intervention
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a tailored mental health and stigma-reduction program for a vulnerable group, improving well-being and HIV care engagement.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early feasibility study with only 80 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The intervention is behavioral and effects may be modest.
