NCT ID NCT07200544

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether meloxicam, a different type of pain reliever, works better than the usual ibuprofen for pain after Mohs skin cancer surgery. About 300 adults having Mohs surgery will be split into three groups: one gets a low dose of meloxicam, another a higher dose, and the third gets standard ibuprofen. Everyone will also take acetaminophen (Tylenol). Participants will rate their pain and satisfaction through surveys right after surgery and the next day.
