First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether a daily 20-minute meditation program, done for 2-4 weeks before and 2 weeks after kidney stone surgery, can improve pain and anxiety in patients aged 12 and older. Half of the 50 participants will learn meditation, while the other half will receive usual care. The goal is to see if meditation is a practical and helpful tool for recovery.
