First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study followed 260 people who received a Medacta GMK Sphere knee replacement for osteoarthritis. The main goal was to see how well the artificial knee feels like a natural part of the body, using a "Forgotten Knee Score" at 2 and 5 years after surgery. Researchers also measured pain, function, and activity levels to understand the overall benefit of this knee implant.
