First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether community-based screening and new treatments—including stem cell therapy and wearable brain-computer interface devices—can slow or stop memory loss in adults 55 and older with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Researchers will enroll 600 participants across U.S. communities and track their thinking skills and progression to dementia over three years. The goal is to see if early action can help people stay sharper longer.
