UCLA study: magnesium pills may boost athlete sleep and performance

Summary

This study looks at whether taking magnesium glycinate or magnesium L-threonate at night can improve sleep, recovery, and athletic performance in UCLA varsity athletes. 150 participants will take either a magnesium supplement or a placebo for 4 weeks. Sleep and recovery data will be collected using wearable devices and reaction-time tests.
