New pill offers hope for kids with rare bone disease, could replace chemo

Summary
This study is testing a daily pill called luvometinib for children with a rare condition called Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) that affects certain high-risk bones. The goal is to see if this targeted medicine can control the disease better and with fewer side effects than the standard chemotherapy treatments. Researchers will enroll 62 children who have not yet received any LCH-specific treatment to see how well they respond and how long they stay disease-free.
