Sarcoma lung surveillance study halted: x-ray vs. CT showdown inconclusive
NCT ID NCT01612481
First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether chest X-rays or CT scans are better for finding lung cancer spread in people who had surgery for high-grade soft tissue sarcoma. The goal was to see which test helps catch lung tumors early enough for surgery. Only 11 people joined before the study was stopped early, so the results are limited.
