First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares an intensive weight loss program—including meal replacements, behavioral support, and weight-loss medication—to standard care for adults with obesity. About 480 participants aged 18-60 with a BMI of 30 or higher (or lower for certain ethnic groups) will take part. The goal is to see if the intensive approach leads to greater weight loss and better health outcomes.
