New study tests faster, less painful thyroid surgery method

Summary
This study compares two tools used during thyroid surgery: LigaSure and bipolar diathermy. The goal is to see which one leads to shorter surgery time, less pain, and fewer complications. Thirty adults having part or all of their thyroid removed will take part. Results could help surgeons choose the best tool for better recovery.
