New study tests faster, less painful thyroid surgery technique

Summary
This study compares two tools used during thyroid removal surgery: LigaSure and bipolar diathermy. The goal is to see which one leads to shorter surgery time, less pain, and fewer complications. Thirty adults having partial or total thyroid removal will take part.
