First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether a more intensive diet and exercise counseling program can help high-risk pregnant women keep their blood sugar in check and lower their chances of developing gestational diabetes. Researchers will compare this program to the standard advice given during pregnancy. The study plans to enroll 100 women who are early in pregnancy and have risk factors like age 35+, family history of diabetes, or high BMI.
