First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is developing an AI method to track the movement of tumors and nearby organs during radiation therapy without using physical markers. Researchers will use data from 300 patients receiving radiation for various cancers or heart arrhythmias to train and test the system. The goal is to improve real-time image guidance, but the AI will not change or interfere with patient treatments during the study.
