First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether resistance exercise and/or extra protein can help people with obesity keep their muscle and physical function while losing weight with semaglutide or tirzepatide. About 232 adults will be assigned to one of four groups: control, extra protein, exercise, or both. The goal is to see if these additions prevent muscle loss and improve health over 6 months.
