First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a web-based platform called LEAD that helps people in the early stages of Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment talk about and write down their end-of-life wishes. About 120 participants and their care partners will use the tool to see if it improves decision-making confidence and reduces anxiety. The goal is to make sure patients' values are known and respected by family and doctors.
