First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study tested two non-drug treatments—low-level laser therapy and transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation—to see which better improves blood flow and reduces pain in people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Thirty adults aged 45-60 with well-controlled diabetes and nerve pain for over 6 months took part. The goal was to find a safe, non-invasive way to ease symptoms and improve vascular health.
