Laser light may ease pain after knee replacement

Summary

This study tests whether adding high-intensity laser therapy to standard physical therapy helps reduce pain and improve movement after knee replacement surgery. About 46 adults aged 50 to 80 will be randomly assigned to receive either real laser therapy or a sham treatment alongside their rehab. Researchers will measure pain, swelling, strength, and quality of life over four months.
