First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a low-power laser on acupuncture points, along with standard anti-nausea drugs, could better prevent nausea and vomiting in children aged 2 to 20 receiving chemotherapy. The goal was to see if this added treatment could reduce or eliminate vomiting, nausea, and the need for extra medication during and after chemo. The study involved 30 children with cancer and aimed to improve their comfort during treatment.
