Summary
This study looked at whether a blood enzyme called tryptase can help predict knee stiffness and pain after total knee replacement. Researchers measured tryptase levels before and after surgery in 219 people with knee arthritis. The goal was to see if changes in this enzyme are linked to a condition called arthrofibrosis, which causes stiffness after surgery.
