Knee implants tracked for 10 years after surgery
NCT ID NCT03720782
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study follows 118 people who already received a LEGION knee implant during total knee replacement surgery. Researchers will check how well the implants hold up over 10 years by measuring implant survival and patient quality of life using questionnaires. The goal is to confirm the long-term safety and performance of these devices.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
LEGION porous HA tibial baseplate and/or CR femoral component (knee implant device)
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could confirm that these knee implants are safe and work well for many years after surgery.
What could go wrong
This is an observational follow-up study, not a test of a new treatment. Results may not apply to all patients, and some implants may fail over time.
