Knee implant design may change bone health, study finds

Summary
This study looks at how bone density around a new knee joint changes over two years, comparing two common implant designs. Fifty people getting a cemented total knee replacement will have bone scans and complete surveys about their knee function. The goal is to see which implant type better preserves bone health.
