Summary

This phase 3 trial tests whether adding ketamine to the standard drug levetiracetam stops prolonged seizures (status epilepticus) more effectively than levetiracetam alone. About 770 people aged 1 and older who are still seizing after initial treatment will receive either the combination or standard care. The main goal is to see if seizures stop within 15 minutes and stay stopped for an hour.
