Summary
This study looks at whether adding kefir, a fermented milk drink, to the diet can help obese children lower their body mass index (BMI) and improve related problems like insulin resistance and fatty liver. About 60 children with a BMI above the 95th percentile will take part. The goal is to see if kefir can be a simple, natural way to manage obesity and prevent future health issues.
