Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called KBP-5074 in 162 people with moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease whose high blood pressure was not controlled by current treatments. The goal was to see if the drug could safely lower blood pressure and reduce kidney damage. Participants took either the drug or a placebo for 84 days, and researchers measured changes in blood pressure and urine protein levels.
