Summary
This study tests whether giving intravenous iron to teens with iron deficiency before spinal fusion surgery can lower their need for blood transfusions. About 120 participants aged 10-19 will receive either IV iron or a placebo. The goal is to see if correcting iron levels improves surgical outcomes and recovery.
