Summary
This study tests whether giving a combination of iron, erythropoietin, and vitamin C before major heart surgery can lower the need for blood transfusions in adults with iron-deficiency anemia. About 400 participants will receive either the combined regimen or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at reducing transfusions during and after surgery.
