Summary
This study tests whether inulin, a prebiotic fiber from chicory root, can reduce inflammation and knee pain in older adults with osteoarthritis. Over 8 weeks, 84 participants will take either inulin or a placebo daily. Researchers will measure changes in blood markers of inflammation and self-reported knee pain to see if this simple dietary supplement offers relief.
