Summary
This study is testing a small probe called a microdialysis catheter that is placed in the brain during surgery for tumors like glioblastoma or metastatic cancer. The probe collects fluid samples to measure chemicals (biomarkers) in and around the tumor. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can provide useful information to help doctors better understand and treat brain tumors in the future. About 100 adults will take part.
