New insulin method aims to protect kidneys in diabetes patients

Summary
This study tests a method called physiologic insulin resensitization (PIR) to see if it can improve kidney function in people with advanced chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes. About 120 adults will either receive PIR or standard care. Researchers will measure kidney health markers like eGFR and urine protein levels over time.
