First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called indobufen, combined with clopidogrel, is safer and more effective than the standard aspirin-plus-clopidogrel regimen for preventing strokes after a brain aneurysm is repaired. About 2,500 adults with unruptured brain aneurysms will take one of the two drug combinations for 180 days after their procedure. Researchers will track stroke, bleeding, and other complications to find the best approach.
