Could a slower start to dialysis protect quality of life?
NCT ID NCT04932148
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether starting haemodialysis gradually (incremental dialysis) can help preserve quality of life and remaining kidney function in adults with kidney failure. About 372 people who are just beginning dialysis will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, practical, and better for patients and their families.
