First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether starting haemodialysis gradually (incremental dialysis) can help maintain quality of life for people with kidney failure. About 372 adults starting dialysis will be randomly assigned to either incremental or standard dialysis. The goal is to see if a slower start is safe, practical, and better for patients and their families.
