This study tests whether starting haemodialysis with fewer sessions per week (twice instead of the standard three times) can help preserve patients' remaining natural kidney function. New dialysis patients who still have some kidney function are randomly assigned to either standard thrice-weekly dialysis or an incremental approach that adjusts dialysis dose based on their natural kidney function.
