Heart surgery danger: unstable blood pressure linked to brain and kidney damage
NCT ID NCT07324694
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tracks 230 adults having planned heart surgery to see if unstable blood pressure during the operation raises the risk of serious problems like confusion, kidney injury, stroke, or death within 30 days. Researchers will monitor blood pressure dips and use of pressure-raising drugs. The goal is to better understand which patients are at higher risk so doctors can improve care.
