New imaging technique reveals how well Crohn's drug works
NCT ID NCT05642247
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at 150 adults with Crohn's disease who were treated with ustekinumab, a biologic drug. Researchers used special imaging scans to measure inflammation deep in the gut wall and checked if this helped predict how well the drug worked over 12 months. The goal was to see if imaging could give a clearer picture of treatment success than standard tests alone.
