Summary
This study explores whether a technique called imagery rescripting (ImRs) can help reduce depression when delivered by mental health assistants in primary care. 12 adults with depressive symptoms will receive 5 sessions over 10 weeks, where they work to change negative memories linked to their low mood. The goal is to see if this approach is practical, acceptable, and effective in easing depression and boosting self-esteem.
